In honor of World Giraffe Day, we’re doing something special — launching our brand new Love Does Giraffe Themed Baby Merch Collection and sharing a heart-lifting update on our Giraffe Sanctuary in Uganda.

What started as a lighthearted suggestion — “Let’s build a zoo!” — like so many things at Love Does, the moment turned into a bold idea. Now, that idea is becoming a real giraffe sanctuary in Northern Uganda.

We are excited to partner with the Uganda Wildlife Authority to help increase the Nubian giraffe population and expand their habitat! These gentle giants will be the heart of the Love Does Giraffe Sanctuary, a space for conservation, education, and wonder, right next to our up and coming Restore University.

The vision is bold: a place where students study science and justice and look out their classroom window to see giraffes, a reminder that the impossible is possible.

Restore University is set to open in 2027 and we want to share with you our plans to shape a brighter future for Ugandan students! At Restore University, our mission is to bring love and justice to communities through value-based training for a new generation of leaders.

In this flipbook, you’ll find everything you need to know about our plans for Restore University, including our strategic plan for the university, a detailed campus construction plan and master plan, progress updates and next steps, and a cost breakdown to show where support will have the most impact.

We believe that education is a powerful tool for peace-building and transformation. By providing top-quality education, we empower students to bring hope, peace, and positive change to their communities and the world.

We’re excited to create a space in Gulu that will empower future Ugandan leaders through a unique blend of academic rigor and compassionate leadership. We invite you to be a part of this project!
