In honor of World Giraffe Day, we’re doing something special — launching our brand new Love Does Giraffe Themed Baby Merch Collection and sharing a heart-lifting update on our Giraffe Sanctuary in Uganda.

What started as a lighthearted suggestion — “Let’s build a zoo!” — like so many things at Love Does, the moment turned into a bold idea. Now, that idea is becoming a real giraffe sanctuary in Northern Uganda.

We are excited to partner with the Uganda Wildlife Authority to help increase the Nubian giraffe population and expand their habitat! These gentle giants will be the heart of the Love Does Giraffe Sanctuary, a space for conservation, education, and wonder, right next to our up and coming Restore University.

The vision is bold: a place where students study science and justice and look out their classroom window to see giraffes, a reminder that the impossible is possible.

At Restore Leadership Academy, we have so much to celebrate. This past year, our students excelled academically and athletically. We ranked number 60 out of 1,000 and our girls’ soccer team is proudly representing the school at the national level.

Now, we’re working toward something new and exciting: building a music program and a full marching band. $25,000 will help us secure drums, trumpets, guitars, keyboards, saxophones, and a professional sound system installed in our main hall! Music is a powerful tool for building discipline, creativity, and unity, and a marching band will give our students a meaningful way to express their pride and joy.

We’re thrilled to share that the Love Does Restore Leadership Academy in Uganda is expanding its primary and secondary dorms to honor our promise to provide boarding for 360 students as our schools continue to grow.

For $285, you can sponsor a bunk bed that will give our students a safe place to sleep, help them focus on their education, and dream of becoming future leaders of their country. Safe housing is vital for children in Uganda who face poverty, unsafe conditions, and long commutes. With secure dorms, consistent nutritious food, and a place to rest, they can thrive academically and envision a brighter future.
